This is what we believe:
Every child communicates differently. And that difference is their greatest strength.
There is no single “type” of great speaker. Some students are quiet. Some are animated. Some think before they speak. Some don’t.
They are all great.
The strongest communicators are the ones who understand their own voice — who can think under pressure, speak with purpose, and connect with sincerity. Our mission is to help each student find that voice and use it to unlock their own success.
How We Teach
Learning to speak with confidence should never feel stiff or pressured.
At Prio Academy, our sessions are dynamic, practical, and often a lot of fun.
We combine tools from executive communication, psychology, and storytelling — but deliver them in a way students enjoy. Sessions mix challenge and encouragement. Students discover how to speak, and also who they are when they speak.

Youth-Centered Methodology
Our programs are designed around how students think, learn, and develop. Every lesson meets each student where they are — curious, nervous, ambitious, or all three — and helps them grow from there.
Behind each program is a team of youth‑counselling specialists, communication coaches, and university instructors with decades of experience guiding students with patience, insight, and respect for individual temperament.
Multilingual & Cultural Fluency
Our coaches are native speakers of English and Cantonese, and fluent in Mandarin. We are deeply familiar with both Asian and Western communication styles.
We understand what global universities and employers value, and use those insights to help students adapt their voice confidently to any setting, from local scholarship interviews to international forums.

After two decades of doing the above and securing C-Suite promotions and top university admissions for her clients, global communication strategist Elaine Lo noticed a pattern: even at the highest levels, success always went first to those who could communicate clearly. It sparked a question:
What if young people learned these skills much earlier?
From there, Prio Academy was born: a place where any child could learn the communication tools fit for executives, and discover the confidence to lead in their own way.
Beyond her coaching work, Elaine is also a youth counsellor in training, deepening her understanding of how young people think, learn, and grow. She is also a mother of two, a volunteer communication mentor at ESF Schools and a well‑loved mentor in her community — known for her warmth, empathy, and wise support she offers to students of all ages.
